What I read her saying in between the lines in the update was that any further NB bases are absolutely DOA. MCO + TPA has been a win, LAS at best a draw, and none of the other candidates have anywhere near enough flying to justify.

To be quite honest, they are DOA because of reserve coverage..... Outstation bases have a lower reserve utilization (harder to use reserves to bail themselves out)....

Yup, the flying is there to support the outstation base… But the company will only do it with single digit percentage amount of reserves in said base. They don’t want reserve pilots sitting at home collecting paychecks at outstations that they have a hard time activating….

Hence why in base reserve at a outstation is the best job…
