Not really sure the rationale here with respect to add “premium” seats. The 319/320 both have 12 FC seats, while the -700 has 12 and the -800 has 16. So all this for 4 seats?? The -900ER (Entire Runway) won’t do well in SNA with an 5700 foot runway, and if the runway is wet in LGA, that will be a struggle as well. 🤷♂️🤷♂️. Anyone who has flown both knows the 320 has much better runway performance, hands down.

You've got a point about SNA, but the 900ER is fine in LGA. Went there recently and it was moderate rain, but the runway code was still 5/5/5. Landed on runway 4 with autobrakes 3 and got off at U without even trying. If I did manual braking, I could have turned off before the runway 31/13. And according to FOQA, I touched down at 2,050 feet. Plenty of room at LGA.

Sna is mostly 800’s. LGA going from a 320 to an 800 you gain 6 economy plus seats (possibly an extra row of preferred seats that cost money when booking?), 4 business seats, and 16 more seats overall. 900’s out of LGA are possible but it leaves little room for error especially in the winter. We used to do it but I didn’t think we did it currently.
