Nice try on Starship making orbital velocity. I see you don’t understand basic rocket science. Making Orbital Velocity without an orbital trajectory doesn’t count. It’s like being over the line in bowling.
Careful, you might hurt your back moving the goal posts that fast. You said “Starship didn’t achieve orbital velocity.” It did in fact achieve orbital velocity.

You can’t later claim that you ment orbital trajectory (a different thing that an internet expert like yourself would surely know) and I must be an idiot who doesn’t even understand, “basic rocket science”.

I got an A in Rocket Science BTW….Chemistry, that’s another story.

The Democratic passed IRA increased 2022 proposed increasing the SALT cap from 10k to 80k per year, which would have cut taxes for many middle and upper middle class people who saw their taxes increase under TCJA. Double taxation is wrong. Unfortunately 1 senator was able to change that. Good riddance Joe Manchin. Don’t let the door hit you in the *** on the way out!

If Republicans are able to pass tax reform in 2025 that removes or substantially raises the SALT cap, then I will be back to voting for the party I most align with (The GOP). Until then, I’m still voting Democrat.

Republicans have 220-215 seat majority in the house this congress. That is the slimmest house majority in history. In an election that was supposedly a landslide mandate for the GOP. It will get as low as 217-215 with Gaetz resigning and 2 others taking positions in the new administration. If TCJA didn’t implement a SALT cap, I suspect Republicans would have won by much larger margins in the house as they did in the senate and for the president.
Sounds like it’s not working well for YOU… if he DJT can get immigration under control and get us out of funding BS wars and paying benefits to illegals then I’m willing to pay more in the short term to tug this ship around… paying for no -citizens benefits like we have for 4 years needs to stop!

Yes, me and ~20% of Americans who saw our taxes increase under TCJA. This is in response to someone questioning someone’s taxes increasing under Trump’s TCJA. They certainly did.

Bush cut taxes for 100% of Americans
Obama extended tax cuts for 99% of Americans
Trump raised taxes on ~20% of Americans

Longer security lines, potential flight delays, and limited customer service options if airline support teams are affected indirectly.

stay safe out there
When does the shutdown start?

Or from the other perspective, he stopped 80% of us from having to give you a break on federal taxes to offset your excessive state and local taxes. It's all a matter of perspective.

So how do you stand on the Biden administration 'forgiving' student loan debt? From the debtors point of view it's a helluva good deal. Same for the colleges. From the taxPAYERS point of view, maybe not so much.

I'm now curious on your thoughts on the Covid loan forgiveness (PPP)?

that is a valid argument. Interestingly enough most of those states also happen to be “donor states” i.e. they pay more to DV than they receive in federal $

https://worldpopulationreview.com/st...s/donor-states

There are many arguments either way.
