I think you can take a pretty nuanced middle ground take and say Musk isn't a big fan of labor without being Lorenzo.

There's a reason why Tesla factories are non union. They just shut down the Cybertruck line for a few weeks suddenly because people weren't ordering as many. That's whatever to Joe public, but horrible for those workers and their financial security during the holiday season. He makes a lot of snap hiring/firing decisions which are funny for meme'ing woke Twitter employees but not fun if you're the person getting fired, laid off or losing work hours suddenly.

I like a lot of things Musk does, but you can also look at it critically and know that he wouldn't be good for labor in general in a lot of industries.

If you work for Musk do your job and all is well.

He won't affect the airline industry even the tiniest bit. Unions are protected by law and to even mention as being a threat is laughable at best.

Now for over 75% of Federal workers that run DC from their living room except a one day office visit a MONTH ? All on our dime via taxes ? Yeah they are in real jeopardy and they should have been fired a long time ago.

This is an absolutely hysterical take given the last 40+ years of this profession.

I seem to remember taxes paying for quite a few jobs a few years back. But hard times are only in the past, right? You earned it.

Everyone remember when the world ended the last several times the govt “shut down?”

Of course not because this is all political gamesmanship and pearl clutching.

If this is your first rodeo, turn the TV off and you won’t notice a thing.

My guy, the dude worth $400 billion and his 2 other billionaire buddies just told YOU, that YOU need to prepare for financial hardship. Do you not understand that will directly impact the number of customers flying on your airline? Do you question that maybe this administration is by the billionaires and for the billionaires, and you’re going to get screwed along with “those people who deserve it”?

When are airline pilots going to stop complaining about the lost decade, and start understanding the policies that led to the economy imploding and furlough slips being passed out like candy? How many jobs have one party created, and how many has the other party created?

It’s also amusing hearing people complain about tax money while giving complete approval to the guy who raised your taxes! But please, continue to lecture me on tax policy. “I love the poorly educated”

Please elaborate on which policies you think created the lost decade, and who is to blame. If you’re talking about economics then please include some scholarly articles as sources.
