Just imagine if there is a forum full of airline passengers complaining about how much airlines spend on transportation and logding for a widebody crew overnighting in Paris for 30 hours.

yes. Filler

No one refutes it, because it's probably true, but it's also not unique. Presidential travel is ungodly expensive, espcially overseas travel.

the difference is current president made an enormous stink about prior president golfing, claimed he’d be working too hard to golf (all this trumpeted by his followers), then proceeded to golf at twice the rate of prior president, at his own clubs which charged the secret service god knows what to stay at. Not a peep from his ardent followers.

Sums up the current state of American politics. Whether a person is good or bad depends on the letter next to their name. All actions are irrelevant. They will be casually dismissed, “what about”ed, or just ignored and waived away, IF the letter next to the doer is the right letter.

I doubt in whatever or wherever the Secret Service stays under one president is substantially different cost-wise from one to the next. I mean, they were paying $30k/month to rent a Malibu mansion to guard Hunter Biden. They’re not staying at Hampton Inns.

Would it have been an issue to you if Joe Biden had owned the Malibu mansion the SS was staying in?

ignoring the main points of my first paragraph kind of validates my second one.

U honestly worried about millions of $ paying for legit secret service protection when Uncle Joe allowed millions of illegal immigrants into the country over his term? Where are your posts highlighting these costs? Guess who’s paying for all the healthcare, housing and debit cards these illegals get? Hint… not them. Quit with the TDS and focus on things that matter.

I think you’re missing the point entirely. I don’t know and don’t care how often any president golfs. Work hard play harder has been my philosophy from the beginning.

The point is that the last administration was so negligent that Joe golfing was bad optics. Trump has done more for issues like Ukraine/Russias and illegal immigration (despite the last administration saying it was impossible to solve) that his constituents probably doesn’t care that he golfs.

That’s the main difference between the two

You can ask me my opinion about the border, transgender issues, etc, (the hot button issues determining the election) and maybe you’d be surprised by my response even though I have “TDS”.

Again, I think you and the comment above validate the points I made in my original comment.

Thats why I listen to what Trump says. His followers tend not to listen. The hard part for me is he has a lot of great policies. I just feel integrity is important in a President.

Reasonable people listen to what Trump says and use some common sense. Others, not so much.

I will fix the border day 1. Wasn't day 1 but PDQ Border crossings down 95% which will result in lower costs that sanctuary cities can now spend on US citizens. Seems pretty common sense.
I will end the Ukraine war. Wasn"t day and not ended, but way more progress than previous 3 years.
I will return the American hostages from Hamas. Wasn't day one but PDQ.
Returned other hostages from Venezuela, Afganistan, Russia and didn'y pay billions to do so.
I will reign in inflation. First full month Trump in office slightly down . Eggs down $1.80 a dozen and oil down from $80/barrel to $65/barrel.
Stellantis, Mercedes, Nissan Siemmens Honda, LG, Samsung etc bringing jobs back to America.
Drill baby drill. It's happening on govt land. 625 million acres which Biden shut down
Protect America first. 2 Trillion in investment announced in USA. Apple, TSMC, Saudia Arabia, DAMAC, Tawain, etc
Restart Keystone pipeline. Signed bill allowing KPL on federal land.
Stop transgenders from competing in women sports. Signed executive order doing so.
3 or 4 International terrorists taken out PQQ
Suspended sex transition surgeries for people under 19YO, which seems pretty common sensical.
English as official language
Military recruitment for Navy and Army for Jan, Feb, Mar highest level in 15 years.
Border agents, ICE estatic over actually being able to do their job instead of process servers for CBP app.
Expanded access to IVF.
Told Sec Treasury to stop minting pennies that cot 3.5 cent to coin. How could anybody be against anything that crazy. Didn't happen immediately, but hopefully effin soon.

Is there anything that the L or D's can find supportable? If so, I haven't heard it from them. The D's are taking the 20 on every 80/20 issue. Good luck. Keep going further left, I'm sure that will work out well.

As my retirement evaporates "short term pain" lol and we go to war and invsde panama canal and cause economic collapse. I assume that the top percentage of pilots will push hard for 67 age. They get two more years to hopefully get back what trump lost them. How likely and how much negotiating capital in dc do we have for them to get it?
