Default First and Business Class NON REV ZED

Can United pilots fly forst class and business class on foreign airlines?

I'm specifically asking about those with 3 class cabins; Emirates, Lufthansa, etc.

If so, roughly how much is a ZED fare first and business on those from a city in the US to their hub?

I'm sure they are out there occasionally for other airlines, but United does not have any first class ZED agreements for airlines that would have a true international first class. Given the typical reciprocal nature of the agreements, since United doesn't have first class any longer, it makes sense that all our agreements would be limited to business.

Lufthansa we can list business, Emirates we cannot. However, we can list business on Etihad.

it’s the exception to the rule. Lufthansa & Turkish are the 2 off the top of my head that allow you to Zed in business.

We have over 50 airlines that we can list ZED business for. It's a minority, but it's a pretty significant subset.

If you are a UAL pilot all this information is on FT, or a link to find the information. If you are not a UAL pilot, why do you care?

I'd cut them some slack. They may be elsewhere looking at United and this informaton is relevant to them.
