The REALLY junior guys that snagged a seat when the base opened? They’re going to be on reserve the rest of their lives, literally.
id take reserve for the rest of my time if I could actually get in there instead of commuting.

They'll probably be happy to do just that since they get to drive to work.

Myself, I never understood the appeal of MCO. Place sucks - crowded, Disney weirdos everywhere, traffic sucks, no beaches, weather sucks, bugs, etc. Not sure what the appeal is but apparently a certain group of people love it.

I know right, although Disney notwithstanding, the same could be said for many of our domiciles. Sort of like “Jersey, nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded”- Yogi Berra.

I mean not the rest of their careers. Just according to this snapshot.

100%. All the misery of Florida with none of the benefits like beaches, boating, fishing etc.

Very tax friendly when you’re about to retire. Especially compared to CA, IL, NJ/NY

Not true, you can do 2 of the 3 named. No beaches, but boating and fishing is common in the Central Florida area

Nicer homes without crazy property taxes, no state income tax, and you won’t freeze your butt off during the winter months make it appealing over our other bases.

Central FL has some beautiful spots once you get away from I Drive.
