your words not mine, anyways thanks for citing no source.
Crisscrossing time zones on those endless back of the clock flights, flipping your body’s clock upside down, it’ll kick your ass every time and take its toll on your body. Need a citation for why smashing your nuts in a door is a stupid move? Come on. |

I’ve been doing the widebody for years, personally I don’t feel it. I listen to my body sleep as much as needed when it needs it and do well in the bunk. Hit the gym so added points. I do t think I’m any more tired than doing trans cons or 2-3-4 legs a day
I flew a lot of years, through bankruptcy, doing Premium flights to JFK, all night, and 3 day red-eye Maui's. Always felt horrible. So, it just depends on how you can adapt to your flight schedule. The widebody can be great, IF YOU CAN SLEEP ON THE PLANE. If not, it can be torture. Depends on you. At least if you come to UAL, you will have that choice. |

Im rarely, if ever as tired as I was at the regionals doing 5-6 legs a day, hours of dots, 10-11 hour overnights EVERY night, 11-12 days off a month, etc. Anecdotal; 2 friends of mine hired (1 FX, other UPS) same time I was hired here. I was commuting to the west coast. They could both hold mostly day time/minimal backside while I was still doing redeyes. Never mind how they’re able to shorten up their trips with DH deviation banks, etc. |
