Your 83 hire, or FOF type responses are old and predictable. Move along. As a 737 captain, I am not going to accept a new contract that creates a paycut after a decade of negative movement- and that is what Delta + $1 would be for my BES.

IAH,
As stated somewhere else in this thread, glad you're not on the negotiating committee. Stick to flying, dude.

Chris,

You don't pay union dues either due to 'religious' reasons. Although I'd describe it as hypocrisy.

Just 'cos you're unworthy, the rest of us aren't!

Send your raise to the starving masses if you don't want to do dirty your hands with filthy money!

YGBSM. Good idea--here's another. There's about 1500 "starving masses" who will be stapled below you on the seniority list. Maybe give your raise to some of those guys? Or maybe just **** so we have something to come back to besides more of the same.

I had kind of guessed that about this guy.....^^^^^^

I am one of the Jr. captains who was surplussed back to the right seat, there aren't a whole heck of a lot of widebody F/O's who weren't in the left seat at one time at UAL and there are a whole bunch of 755/767's f/Os who are surplussed captains as well.

Big picture I guess it doesn't mean anything other than a whole bunch of us have paid dearly for the mismanagement and outright abuses of the Tilton era. I can only hope that we are turning a corner in the right direction this time. I don't have to many more smacks in the face or kicks to the balls left in me.

I'm a 767 f/o and consider myself a widebody f/o.... Did you exclude it from the widebody category by mistake?

I'm about halfway up the list in DC and had 737/320 Capt seniority from 2006-2009 (most recently...). FWIW, I'm still very close to 320 Capt seniority in DC (if they ever posted bids...)

There was not much that was done to you that wasn't MR. E170 aside, and that is a whole other topic, most of your pain was handed to you by your MEC at various stages of the process. You kicked yourself in the junk, in other words by the majority of the pilots voting for it.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, that is the fact.

Sure, parking the Guppys led to the current furlough. Who gave the company the latitude in scope to achieve that "right sizing" in relation to block hour relaxation......look in the mirror. And, that was not meant as an attack. It is the reality that exists. Nothing else.

Frats,
Lee

If I'm not mistaken, the EMB 170 give away was accomplished by one man. My guess is that the whiteford side letter allowed the company to park the Guppies because I don't think that UAL would have had the lift to park the fleet without that letter.

Sure, there's plenty of guilt to go around but that side letter was HUGE. The rest of us had ZERO say in the matter.

Of course, none of that matters now. But it is a salient point to consider when voting on the upcoming contract.

I'm not beating you up, just making sure you know that DAL opens their contract in DEC (2 months from now).

I would guess they are going to get a large improvement to the current contract. There business model is working, beating their numbers provided by DAL mgmt pre-merger.

I believe DAL + 1 is way too low based on the DAL+NWA model info and they could get a new contract in 1 year after we sign a new JCBA.
