We had a leader that was very concerned about himself back then and it transferred well for the rest of us for a while.

Does anyone know if time will accrue..for example, if we had two weeks left of our probationary year, but that was three years ago, will we come back to fourth year pay?

If your talking about CAL the answer is no. First year pay is what you come back to.

I don't know the answer to longevity question for furloughs but if I was betting man I'd have to say no. It hasn't worked that way historically.

Maybe this time it'll be different.

The company offered Delta + $1 and the Delta pilots get longevity for furloughs. Unless ALPA takes it away from us we should have it as the company has already offered it.

Let's see. The website says that the union and the company were $1.3 billion apart at the time of the proposals last fall. Hmmmm....merger synergies according to the company are going to run $1 billion to $1.2 billion a year in savings. So based on two numbers from the company, in reality they are fighting over $100-300 million, not $1.3 billion they would have the lemmings believe.

"Hi, here's some change....my pocket change. I think you'll like it."

Currently working for a regional that flies routes for United, that should be flown by United pilots, my question is... What if there is a strike in the future? How can we help? Do we refuse to fly whatever United would throw us to cover what is not being flown or do we not have a choice? How does this work?

Believe me I want you guys to get all of your flying back and fight for what you (and us pilots as a whole) deserve. I realize that a lot of you would probably view me as the "enemy" for lack of a better term. I am pulling for you. All of us are. All flying for United should be flown by United pilots, or Delta by Delta pilots etc.

I'll have to go back and re-read contract 2000, but it seems like that contract gave/restored A-Fund furlough credit for pilots furloughed in the 70's (yes, I'm aware of how well that worked for them). I'm not sure what the current language is for current furloughees, but there is a somewhat recent history of making furloughees whole.

It has been reported that every pilot is individually named in the injunction. Now where can I get a copy of this injunction with my name specifically included in it? Also who do I call to get a copy of the Affidavid of Service showing that I was served a summons to appear before a judge regarding this injunction?
