Default Any top 400 UA guys got the GUM letter?

The top 400 on the furlough list should have gotten the GUM letter by now if they went out with the 100 job offers. Im in the 400 group and have seen nothing. Anybody else?

iadfo,

Is all your current contact info up to date. I got a FedEx mailer from CAL about 3 days ago I think.

If you're in the 400 and haven't received anything yet, I'd recommend sending an email direct to the furlough coordinators at UAL. [email protected]

I needed to update my email info. Despite what I'm sure is a full inbox, they replied fairly promptly.

Frats,
Lee

By 400 you mean the 209 or so voluntaries plus 191 or so involuntaries?

Yea, I called to verify and have been getting all the emails and the latest company propaganda they have been mailing out. It seems the only guys I have heard of that got the GUM package were in the top 100 and had it in their job offers with the Fedex pack. I will send Ted an email and find out If they have gone out to #s 101-400.

Yes, I understood we would get the offer to volunteer for the first 400 including the voluntary furloughs.

From what I understand the 400 folks who were supposed to get a letter have until August 25th to reply. I was hired 11/15/99 and Ted told me my number is 402 on the list if that helps you any. BTW this is your buddy from the Hotline (No, not Roger).

Lots of furloughees have been furloughed twice now. What is that saying?

Fool me once, shame on me.............

3 times and I am a %^$#@ moron.

Still, the Guam deal sounds good, and if you live in the NY area it may not be bad either.

Instantly unfenced. You get a voluntary furlough UAL 747 CA flying CAL 737 FO reserve with slick-tie VJM CA across from him. That will be an interesting thread.
