Default UAL/CAL Merger & Jumpseats

Any idea on when the merger is going to be complete and the jumpseat lists get merged...

Right now I can only jump on UAL aircraft and gates...

I'm told the JS sync between UAL and CAL pilots will happen in the second quarter of 2012 (Able to JS intl. on each carrier, etc.). The off line JS changes might occur then, as well.

When it benefits management, "We are one company!"
When it benefits the pilots, "We are separate companies, sorry."

That's it in a nutshell. The airlines are nowhere near integrated. All the SOC means is management triggered its bonuses and we all call ourselves United when talking to ATC.

Had a CAL J/S the other day going from SFO to LAX. He had an "H" at the end of his employee ID. LAX 737 CAP Garcia. I remember somewhere back in the recesses of the synopsis that the "H" meant something but I can't remember what.

Please tell me I didn't let a scab on my J/S. If I did ... shame on me and can someone please direct me to the CA Scab list.

Much obliged!
