Default CAL MEC hotels

Who has heard that the new "Merger assesment" fund is being used to pay for a full-time hotel room that is used 2-3 times a month. The union is then letting the room sit empty the rest of the month to collect the points! I though CAL MEC said it would be responsible and accountable for the way those funds were spent... Jay Pierce!!!! Really??? Is there an excuse/reason for this?

The "Merger Assessment" fund hasn't even started yet. But if your intel is true than we are wasting funds non the less.

Can you back your allegations up with some facts?

So heard from union and was told that they do purchase room blocks, but it is due to price vs getting a room every-time...and empty rooms generally only happen with meeting cancellations which have been rare.
