Here's my plan... If it's obvious I'm way under 70 hrs credit for the month I won't be in this class. If I'm over 70 hrs...I will go to class. If, like most months, I end up with about 60 hrs., I will "modify" my sked so that I am over 70 hrs. They WILL pay me 5 hrs to take this class. 4 1/2 years on reserve has taught me well.

Thanks for letting us RSV's know about this info Hoss. I have to admit I was thinking it would be an "extra 5 hrs". I should've known better. My advice to my fellow RSV's.... Bid the class on your last "RSV" day of the month and show up only if you are over guarantee.

Also....section 9F-3-a-(2) of the contract states: The minimum rest between ANY line assignment and ANY training assignment (including deadheading to or from training, if required) shall be 18 hours FREE of ALL duty at the home domicile.
Don't let them infringe upon this. They have already tried it with me and I'm sure that I'm not the only one. I only had 17:50 free of duty. Don't let them dilute your contract.
