So is this May 1st letter from UCH management? Is it from Jay Pierce? I don't know. Seriously, There is no name on the bottom.... "The company has made an effort to conclude these negotiations"??...and the company remains commited to reachin one"?? This sounds to me like more UCH company dribble but, I honestly can't tell who wrote it. I will assume it's company propaganda and not from J.P. It's getting harder to tell the difference these days.
Hopefully the irony is not lost on us, of not being able to tell whether Jeff Smisek or Capt. Pierce is writing something to the pilots.........
Would we ever mistake a letter from a true MEC chairman, truly representing the pilot's best interests, as one from management??
Can we imagine any, ANY time better than now to stand firm on returning our contracts to their historical pre-fabricated-bankruptcy conditions?
(ie. SWA/FDX levels) If we don't stand firm and unified now, we are proving we never will. The time for mgmt.'s "best efforts" has expired.
