Agreed, although I can't really imagine DALPA "rushing" into a concessionary agreement WRT to the most important issue - scope, both top and bottom. Just seems unlikely to me considering the times we live in that the DAL MEC would readily, and ahead of schedule give up anything...

Agree. Mgt wanted/ needed something from the Delta group that is apart of their future business plan and was/ is incentivized to get an agreement in place.

Only if we also get their Cessna Caravan feeder agreement.

With your 757/767 pilots making 30 bucks less a hour then a Delta Pilot you don't really have much to lose.

But Scope is more important then pay in my book.

FWIW, 3rd year FO 7ER reserve guarantee is going to be over 10K a month. Not saying that's good or bad but that's what it's going to be.

If we keep asking for something + a $, over the course of time inflation will put us at a financial disadvantage. How about something plus a %?

It warms my heart to see here and over on the Delta TA everyone of you great guys realizing the assault of the "76 seater" and seein' it for what it is. GOOD ON YA!!!

Thanks and I wish you were right. At the MEC level at least, we're about to give them even more 76 seaters while calling it a scope victory.

If that doesn't get voted down it will truly be astounding how short sighted pilots have become.
Anyone who wants to vote yes for that, have them go back and look at UAL's grounding of their entire 737 fleet
in relation to the allowance of 70 seaters and scope relaxation.
I flew a few of them to the boneyard and looked around. It is a sobering reality of the effect of relaxing scope.
Just say NO.
