Not a company savior at all. And, I'll gladly show you my calrecs .. no junior manning in my life (though I've been called and declined few times in the last month). I'm guessing once we get the new contract, you'll feel like the company respects you? I wouldn't bet on it. You, me, and all our fellow aviators are just a commodity in the eyes of management.

I don't want to help out management, I want to help out myself. Let me repeat this, slowly .. screwing the passengers DOES NOT hurt management. They've already been compensated. We, the front line employees, are the ones that are stuck here for another 20 years or so and have to live with those consequences, not Jeff and his gang.

There IS an old adage about killing the Golden Goose. There's also an ethical issue. I won't pick up junior manning nor waive anything in the contract, but when I'm at work I'll abide by the ALPA code of ethics and do my job to the best of my abilities.
