We'll get a contract when and if we ever get released from the NMB and go out on strike. It's becoming clear to me that Jeff is looking a a US AIR type operation. He has lost me and any loyalty I ever had for UAL. The die has been cast.

I'm thinking after the 1st tuesday in Nov.

That's when the NMB will release if it does decide to do so. Contract won't come until after the strike. 4-6 weeks is my guess.

The NMB will not in my opinion release us.. sooner or later it will be the line pilots who make it happen......

One comment and one question.

Comment: it will never get to a strike.
Question: How will "the line pilots make it happen?"

Amazing how a company in a customer service industry has never been able to truly quantify employee relations. Oh well.

Yeah he'll walk, but we have to get released first
Umm, HE can release you. Just takes one word from him.

What is the next date that we are going to hang onto in hopes of a contract?

July 27?
August 14?
October 31?

How about April 1? That seems fitting. Our management sucks. They have lost me forever.
