None should be outsourced period. The Delta deal overall provides for less outsourcing of pilot seats.
Yeah, you're right. What was I thinking. Who really cares if the deal provides even more of a platform which can compete with the costs of mainline. I mean, who really cares if allow more of a mainline type product to be flown by mainline, while giving up leverage on a dinosaur which is going away anyway.

We get rid of regional aircraft, and what was needed was to get rid of leverage, IMO. Mine was the minority, so be it.

Please enlighten us with your grand new plan? You seem to have all the answers yet for some reason are not sharing the details with us unwashed masses.

That is a cowardly thing to do, but hey if that makes you happy then go ahead.

Why do you think the NMB came to speak directly with both the United and Continental MEC's? Do you think she came to say "sure we will release you to strike tomorrow" or did she say "get your act together and get a deal"? What do you think is the most likely event?

We are in a new environment and that requires new ways of thinking. If you are stuck in the past then you will not succeed. If you try to shift blame for your own problems onto some other person or organization then you will not succeed. At some point you have to either make tough decisions or make excuses and cast blame. Which one results in more pay for you?
Deals were closed because they included massive outsourcing.

More pay for who? The mainline pilot or the outsourced regional pilot?

Look at all sides. Don't you think the UCAL negotiations have been a struggle because they are attempting to hold the line on big RJ scope, unlike DAL?
