UAL Furlough Update 11 Oct 12
#11
Long term thinking I guess, I have a long way to go. My Dad is retired CAL and I know a few people at CAL. I figure things would get sorted out eventually and I see a lot of retirements coming and a turn around in the economy (maybe).

Why would being a former COex or UAex pilot cause you to be treated poorly? Everyone in this industry is trying to find a way to get their time, pay their dues and hopefully establish themselves in a decent career. It's not their fault that UA or CO decided to outsource flying. In fact I bet they wish those carriers DIDN'T outsource flying so that they would have a better chance working for those carriers than an Express carrier.
