I think they mean how they would be treated by the company, not the pilots. You know, being at a Major rather than at a regional. Just a guess though.

Why would being a former COex or UAex pilot cause you to be treated poorly? Everyone in this industry is trying to find a way to get their time, pay their dues and hopefully establish themselves in a decent career. It's not their fault that UA or CO decided to outsource flying. In fact I bet they wish those carriers DIDN'T outsource flying so that they would have a better chance working for those carriers than an Express carrier.
