So I wonder if the few UAL guys that were ribbing the DAL guys over our TA rates not "setting the new bar" are going to come on and apologies when this TA gets voted in. Not only do they not " set the bar " they are below DAL and don't even catch up until DAL's is up for a new contract. That's four more years of pay scales below DAL.

Hey all,
I've been trying to keep up with all the traffic on the TA. Looks like it is getting close to a vote. As a twice furloughed united guy (been out this time since 2008), CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE HAS BEEN ANY DISCUSSION or knowledge on the furloughees getting longetivity? Is anyone fighting for us on this issue. I believe as a May 2000 hire, I should come back to UAL as a 12 year guy.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Matt

That would include the CAL folks that were furloughed as well.
Again....just a rumor that came out of PHX (MEC T/A Vote/meeting)

Haven't heard either way. What I did hear was that the credit will only be for the last furlough and not for the the post 9/11 round.
Guess we will have to wait and see. Rumor says MEC vote tomorrow, FWIW.

So does that mean the credit is for the"right sizing" of UAL for the merger?
