Agree 100%.

I know CAL is gone.

But I am NOT voting in FAVOR of a concessionary agreement when we are making money and they need a deal from us.

This is not 1983, this is not 1991, this is not 2002 - they need the deal, and they have the money to pay for.

Now all we have to do is make them!

Just Vote NO.

I'm just not buying the argument.
When DAL/NWA merged the fleet was 760ish airplanes. Today our fleet count is around 720. RASMs have increased too. Up until this year it was double digit YOY RASM increases.

My point being that it is possible to "shrink to profitability" but there is a limit. Based on the YOY RASM increases slowing down, DAL is approaching that point.

It is NOT a concessionary contract by any means. It does not measure up to expectations. You all want more!

All of this comes down to what you believe. Do I believe the Union? Do I believe this contract is an improvement? Do I believe the company is wanting a deal for no other hidden motives? Do I believe that there is not money left? Do I believe I can live with this contract for 5-7 years?

These are simple but big questions that are hard to answer with 100% assurance. For me I struggle with the truths and trying to decode all the mixed signals. However, don't vote out of fear.
