Default UAL Interview Calls: No Email

Sorry for the new thread...the others seem to get so bogged down.

I've been chatting with a friend (ANG fighter guy) who received a call to interview without the supposed subsequent email. I am assuming they have a few training slots left to fill this summer and have started at the top of their remaining list again? This should give some hope, albeit maybe just a little bit, to those who haven't received an email. Heck, maybe even in the future the "golden email" won't be used at all?

Cheers...

I know a couple of guys that got the call without the email. When they went back through spam/trash box they found it. Check everywhere in your email.

Ok, that makes sense. I found mine was in the Spam/Junk email a couple months back, so if you don't check that and it gets deleted by mistake, then they would think they got the call without an email.

Please do check all possible locations. If you still can't find it, then call and ask for the email that has the interview information in it. No harm at all in requesting this.

I asked him again. He didn't receive an email at all. Cheers.

Wow, so he didn't have to do the Hogan test? Just straight to the interview?

No. He had to do the Hogan. He just didn't get the original March 4th email.

I believe they got behind on their hiring quota early on and have gone through the 300 with training seats still to fill. I asked about the process during the interview and was told the initial hire rate was 40% in April. Was told at the time of interview last month the hiring rate of those interviewed was 78%. A little public math shows why they might be contacting those who did not get a Mar 4th email. 5 months of training classes at 12 seats per class per week, 48 per month. 300 emails means that they needed to hire 48 out of 60 interviewed each month. Just my 2 cents of course.
