In the spirit of your post I'll resist saying what I think of your 112+ hour credit month you were bragging about in another thread
I'm a reserve so its good you resisted, my point why jump on someone for saying something, or bring up the number of post they made, just keep it nice and civil.....

Seems to me you deserve to stay on reserve a lot longer rolling that way. Being on reserve doesn't give you a free pass to waive yourself silly and give management a 2 for 1 pilot deal. Instead of bragging about your fortune and coming across like your servicing Jeff on stage; fly the contract and get this joint staffed properly..then you might get off Rsv.

I don't need to resist, because what I was thinking applies all the same. If I got 112 hours of flying and DH in a month I would a) be fatigued and b) be complaining up a storm, not bragging about it. Hopefully when the full work rules of the contract go into effect you will fall into the category of pilot who appreciates the QOL and safety improvements and not the ones who are complaining that the feeding trough has been paved over. If you are reserve on the 737 you are probably relatively new to these things so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

To your other point... Of all the crap and mud slinging you have picked out of this board to highlight as "mean" you chose THAT post????? Holy moly. The hero you are defending made two posts, one disparaging a UAL base (and entire city) and one bringing up the Zimmerman trial.... in a thread about SEA.

I haven't waived or done any deals, I can't refuse a legal trip simply because someone on the forums thinks I should. You are as a reserve required to fly a legal pairing unless you are fatigued. My point was simply that they were in good fun picking at the 737 and it does in fact pay well. I said lightheartedly that the fluff jet pays my bills, not bragging. You can check my sick bank if you think I'm here to help out Jeff. On you reserve my point was now if you fly any assignment every reserve day you are at 90 hours credit. I've had days where I have not flown and been credited 5 hrs because I was above my mpg. Not sure how this should bother you or how I'm helping management. I can't refuse pairings just to make you happy. Reserve is what it is. Summer you fly, this contract at least helps you get paid.

Wasn't bragging just pointing out the fluff jet does pay, I thought I did that in a humorous way. I have no clue what the other guy posted just don't think it's constructive to bag someone due to a post. Enough said. I've had eons of reserve here and other companies and understand it much better then you. The contract has made reserve pay much better and the work rules when in effect will be a great relief. I'm not one who waives any contract rules and wasn't trying to defend anyone. I also wasn't trying to brag about line value I'd take 20 hrs less and 5 more days off in a heartbeat. Don't paint me as something I'm not.

The paycheck police would love to get a piece of the "Guppy" action. 200 % pay being offered almost every weekend.

You know how much experience I've had on reserve, how, exactly?

Glad to hear they you are looking forward to the improvement in QOL.

Someone made two ridiculous posts totally off topic, and I called him out on it. Period. He deserved it. Since you don't even have any idea what those posts WERE, you really don't have any idea what you are talking about. I've wasted enough time on you. Good luck and hope reserve improves for you

This is a culture that has gone on for years at CAL and the shelf-serving attitude that has created the poor perception of CAL after stepping out of the dark ages (after re-joining ALPA). Don't let them drag the United group down.
