Motch was a "NO" vote, get your facts straight boss.

The MCD appetizer will taste good for some, and I am not talking a MCDonald's meal. I hear it cost around $20.10

If only it were true!! What is true is that when the MEC calls a special session in the next few weeks, then we will know the list is done. $20.10 sounds just about right to me. ;)

It is true lol but you have to understand the exceptions i.e., the fine print to realize the broader impact on the opposing arguments. Taken in whole the MCD effectively becomes and continuing the theme $20.11 and some extra change. Overall, it is very rational and in compliance with current ALPA methodology.

Nope. The SLI is less than 1 month away. Then there are no sides.

Gee sled don't you think the arbs saw that before they decided on the SLI? Or do you truly believed no one saw the company parking 23 757's over the course of this year?

And yes we are all in the big incredibly shrinking airline now, that was a fact after the DOJ approved the merger. Too bad we didn't send our negotiators back for better scope, maybee we would be expanding our narrowbodies and not RJ's and Turbo Props. TYYV.

Oh, they saw it. They also saw UCH order 50 737-900ERs last July to replace the 757s. So you could say they are coming to the UAL side, using your logic.

I have no doubt that you believe it's true. But the list is not done, contrary to popular rumor.

Sled,

If its a 737 is a CAL airplane. PERIOD. CAL INVENTED the 737. The growth that is causing all the new airplanes are from CAL and the global reach they provide from their Houston and New Jersey hubs, not to mention Cleveland. Cleveland is VERY KEY in a global route structure.

It makes total sense that UCAL now needs to feed DEN, LAX, SFO, SEA, ORD, and IAD with these new 737's to handle the new traffic generated by their Newark to Nigeria flights they do in the 777 (Knows affectionately as the "Big 737" at CAL)

CAL also flies the "Stretch 737" which everyone else calls the 757. The "Electric 737" which is a "game changer" as well as a number of turboprop airplanes known as the "Compact 737s".

So if its a 737 and UAL ever gets one, its because of CAL.

So next time you see a CAL pilot, be sure to thank him for the 737. But don't call it a "Guppy" because its the biggest jet he would have ever flown absent the merger, and you'll hurt his feelings.
