Remember this feeling in a year when you come on this board and complain like all of these other folks.

I agree with you. I have been at CAL since 2005 and I still think that this a great job and the current contract is awesome!!

You find me a pilot and ill show you someone who complains... That's what pilots do.

UAL from the outside looking in is very attractive, wish no one else saw it that way. ;)

Yes we do...and it certainly does get old.

I remember my first local council meeting back in the late 1970's. Mild anticipation and glad someone invited me. They spent the next four hours whining about crew meals. I was stunned. It hasn't changed. I walked out very disappointed.

Skyjunky, I've had my app in for over two years. 121 Check airman, 5 letters of rec and 8000+ TT. Phone is silent. Just keep updating your stuff, network and pray.

Ouch.

wilco, T-Trash8er. Are any of your Recs internal?
All recs are from current UA pilots

I've had my app in since 05' timeframe. It was when they first started hiring after 911. Of course I was a CFI at the time ;). Now after 6k or so hours and 4500hrs jet time, with a whole bunch of SIC emb145 at eagle, don't know if I'm any closer to UAL interview. Going to the job fair in Oct. Should be in the left seat of the CRJ by the end of the year. Hoping as soon as possible to become an IOE instr/check airmen. I think that will look good on the resume, plus be a good experience.

I"ve had my app in since Apr 2012 and finally got called this week. I interview on 12 Sept. Anyone else interviewing that day that wants to do some group study/prep?
