How about "down goes CAL". JP is now officially DONE. I'm waiting to see where he ends up (in management).

ORD is an interesting situation. It's the largest LEC with about 1,500 pilots. They get two votes for the chairman. SEA has...what....maybe 5 guys. They also get two votes.

What a terrific system.

I think New York may be bigger.

FYI, Rice helped bring on the 70-seat RJ to UAL. I would like to know who voted for him.

Don't forget that the MC election is senatorial but a MC recall can be done via roll call (representing the # of pilots in each base). This potentially might only be phase one of the "election" depending upon the breakdown of votes.

Really? You'd prefer Rice??!! I'll take more of the same of the last 2 years than more of the same from the Whiteford, Rice, Morse contingent ANY DAY OF THE YEAR

I believe each of the two CAL bases, NYC & IAH, have more Pilots than ORD.

None the less,

Bob Fox (UAL) VC 17-5
Dave Earnest (CAL) Secretary 17-5
Eric Hunter (CAL) Treasurer 15-7

I was obviously speaking of LUAL LEC's. ORD was the biggest.

Secretary and Treasurer for CAL? That's fine. Absolutely no power, but CAL guys feel like they have someone at the big table. I'm sure it was part of the back room deal to get Heppner the votes.

I would really liked to see someone fresh, but the ALPA system doesn't allow for it. That's not an accident...
