Hopefully in the upcoming Council 12 election this month the Chicago pilots will elect leaders that will want to represent all pilots! All these current reps wanted to do was to consolidate their team of political hacks. At least they have showed their true agenda.

Since many of you have asked, and in the interest of transparency, we will tell you that we voted for Captain Paul Rice for Master Chairman, Captain Steve Lynch for Vice-Chairman, First Officer Chris McCullough for Secretary, and Captain Joseph Genovese for Treasurer. As of this morning, these were the declared candidates (along with Captain Heppner) who had announced their intention to run for these positions.
Why didn't you post the very next paragraph where he talks about unity and getting behind whomever was chosen. Not taking sides at all, just curious about your editing....

Will have to see who announces but anyone other than the basic half dozen individuals from the same cabal that have been in the seats over the last 10 years...

You interested in running?

I'd rather stick a fork in my eye!

God forbid we adopt Seniority Block Representation to even out the awesome voting power of the CLE reps (one of whom isn't even based there)...
Don't know anything about either CA Earnest or CA Hunter, but hopefully there will be fiscal responsibility going forward. Just because we get XX amount of money from ALPA does not mean we have to spend it all if you ask me.

From what I understand, the CLE council is also on this tier's election cycle and will be holding elections this month for terms beginning in March 2014. My understanding is that the representative you speak of is not running again.
