I thought that the CAL 2005-2006 hire captain awards were going to get bumped out after SLI. Guess not....

Thought sCAL was staffed just right and sUAL was overstaffed. With all the 787s coming on the property for sCAL only, new Guppies, plus retirements, one would think there would be more 737, 756, and 777 bids but all we see are Guppy FO bids. Btw, how is 1402/02A working for ya now?

Working good, I just got a class for my upgrade. I am a late 2005 hire.

Lots of blame for this one. Next, let's fence the L-CAL guys off of the DC-10, rope-start & 727.

The bid offers captain and 787 positions which will create vacancies which should allow UAL guys to potentially bid the CAL equipment you claim to be shut out from. Btw, haven't touched a thing on my system bid for over 2 years. I've given up trying to follow the fight over anything related to 1402A-Z. Despite you thinking that we are all seat grabbers, I'm perfectly happy being a lowly Guppy FO.

Not blaming the fence. Let the scabs and CAL FOs have the 787. Good for the FOs who want it. My point is the 787 should drive a lot of vacancies on sCAL metal. The arrival of the salt water guppies should drive a lot of vacancies other than FO slots.

Not to mention 25 747 Captains and 50 747 FOs for the LUAL pilots to bid which will create 75 new openings in other positions for LCAL pilots to bid and get off the Guppy.
