Default How did you fare in PBS?

Now that the Captains bids have posted, I'm interested in hearing how the UAL guys/gals did in comparison to their old system...

Talked to a few people. So far no complaints with the awards. Lots of complaints about how long it too to figure out how to bid properly.

You want to hear a complaint, you should see how little training CAL gave/gives to new hires and U-hires about PBS. 11 months on, I finally figured out how a lot of the system works thanks to the trainers in OPS at my CAL base.

Got everything that I ask for. Every weekend off with three 4 day trips (78 hours). Many thanks to the LCAL PBS guru in Dulles ops who helped me build my bid group.

About the same, didn't find it to be a big deal but the 777 fleet is probably much easier as out flying in limited compared to some other fleets.

I got the weirdest schedule I've ever had. 1 four day, then a HUGE chunk of days off, then everything packed at the end. But really, for the most part the trips are the kind I like, and I got a line with less than max credit and more days than min, so I'm ahead of where I was with the old system!

Same. Except for HDO instead of IMM and RSA instead of RSB.

About the same as the old system. But, there isn't a lot of variety in the 757 SFO flying.
