Default Question about L-UAL uniform wings

Was at a collector shop today, there was a set of L-UAL wings in a glass case.

They have set of silver leafs along the bottom of the logo, anybody know what they leafs represent? LCA, years of service?

Thanks.

I think those are a management designation (the wreath) although they haven't been used since the 80's.

If you ever see me posing for a picture like that, please take me out and beat me to a pulp.

Yep, Hart Langer. Would fly one 3 day across the Atlantic, not take his break and wonder why the line pilots couldn't do that.

Well Hart, you DF, they could if they were only doing one trip every six months like you!

He also told my new hire class he "didn't get" why commuting was any kind of a big deal. We were quietly told afterward that he wrote himself positive-space FC tickets back and forth every week...
