5900.....767/320 capts will continue to migrate to the guppy as the process of seniority balancing continues. The rest of the bids will go to a tight range in the low 5000s with a spattering in the upper 5000's.

I think the bids will continue to flow. Looking forward to the balancing of seniority so movement will be more predictable. I'm hedging junior 737 EWR CA range is 6100 on this bid.

I'll split the difference at 6000 (I know, tactically bad move) with DCA FOs being the plurality.

Really;
Yes, it did great taking off one 12k+ foot runway and landing on another, both at sea level. It is good at that So have some of them to cover the easy stuff. The US (and Europe) have a significant number of inner city airports with short runways. LGA, DCA, SNA are all big markets for UCH. 900's aren't going anywhere near them. They are also not doing well to the islands, especially Maui.

You can fill up a newer 321, take off from LGA and fly to Denver. You would be lucky to be able to ferry a 900 ER on the same route.

Getting back to the vacancy for a minute.... Is it safe to say that most of the Captain upgrades on the 737 will come out of the 67T FO's and 777's FO's?

Right now in ORD, the 737 Captains are coming from the 757/767 Captain seat.

Pay banding is largely responsible for this.

Which opens up the 757/767 captain seats that the guys bidding 737 dont want. Now they don't have to fly a schedule or base they don't want just to chase the $'s. That's is why we wanted pay banding. I've had it my entire time at CAL and now United and I have had a better QOL than most of my buddies.
