There seem to be only widebody positions listed on the vacancy. Is this because there were no vacancies on all other BES? Is it customary for a vacancy to only list the large equipment? I'm assuming when the bid closes the vacancies created by this widebody bid will "trickle down" to other bases and equipment.

bid after bid, the windfall continues.

calls for unity and pin wearing in the wake of this?

it'll be a good day if ALPA goes away.

sometimes I have to wonder how it's possible to have such a corrupt organization in place in the United States of America but then I recall that the people of this country have not once, but twice elected Barack Obama and then I reminded of just how this happens.

here we are forced to pay dues to an organization that willing and gladly signs and SLI "award" that used arbitrators with a previous relationship with the "winning" side, incorrect data on which the "award" was decided, and paid other ALPA members to "testify" against one of it's member pilot groups. No...there's no corruption there at all!

U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U U......

egregious!

well actually I don't believe they have been monthly.....but nevertheless that doesn't really change the effect of the windfall and the egregiousness of it all.

you guys had better just hope that the airline continues to exist so that you can ride this gravy train out. or worse yet, you better hope that you aren't in the minority when ALPA's interests are not aligned with yours.

it's all great for you until that happens....if you don't recognize this your foolish.

it must be nice to have words to come out of your mouth without thought or facts or intellect involved.

or then again....it might just be stupid.

Not only is this laughable, but getting old. The lion's share of upgrades out of bases like DEN, LAX, and ORD from 2011-2013 went to LCAL pilots. Now this is just evening the paying field from the 3 year head start.

Its going to happen again when the Sparky fence falls and guys realize they will have good seniority in those seats.

Maybe if your sides proposal for integration wasn't so out of line with reality, it would have been adopted, but I'll bet you think the CAL MC proposal was just part of the vast conspiracy as well.

Stupid is as stupid does. I gotta pee. The SLI is done, sonny. People with the seniority are gonna take the bids. That's the game. You can send money to the lawsuit (down a rat hole) if you don't like it, but it will continue.

Sled

PS. wait until they displace the 76T and 320 guys......I got a feeling you are going to go on a RANT, baby.

You mean the 76T and 320 guys of which about 90% can hold guppy Captain?

Nahh.... Never happen. Bumps are too expensive for the company.

You can continue to believe that as well. I'm grounded in reality and I am well aware that the system is corrupt and the chances of the lawsuit getting before a jury is slim. However I will also say that if it does go to a jury trial then I believe there is a real good chance of your windfall will end.

ALPA is a corrupt, inept and ineffectual organization and all your crowing will cease when ALPA thinks it's not in its best interest that your side win and you find yourself in their way.

You're ignorant if you think you won because your side's argument won the day.

All ALPA did is make this place toxic for decades to come and if you had any sense you would haven't supported such a lopsided "award".

It's one thing to get all the windfall from an egregious award, it's quite another to gloat and revel in it. Not surprised however as I've read your posts for a LONG time and this is par for the course.
