Default FYI: UA Has A New Safety Video

External Link (YouTube): "Safety is global – United inflight safety video"

"We’re onboarding a new safety video. Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and employees, so we’ve incorporated creative elements to maintain the interest of even our most frequent flyers flight after flight. Underscoring the message that safety is global, the video showcases locations throughout United’s broad route network."

Its better than the previous generic wal-mart'ish style video with that boring voice. Cant help but feel they tried to go with the quirky Delta safety video to get laughs from the confused people's reactions.

Yea, I just saw it last night for the first time. It's ok...I think they maybe tried too hard. I feel you on the DAL thing.

Definitely tried too hard. I didn't see the humor in it at all, and found it hard to watch. But you can't please everyone. I thought delta's video was amusing but if you're not familiar with pop culture 1980s America, you might not get it.

The pilots shown in the video must be former CAL since they actually wearing hat and jacket. Now that's what I call professional appearance.

They are both LUAL. The first one is Lawrence Ellis. He is the Assistant Chief Pilot in LAX.

Some of the pilots I've seen are so fat the jacket won't fit them.
