They had a choice of where to go. Each slot is equally valid for a civilian pilot and military pilot.

End of story.

It also takes a United pilot introduction to get you into the chief pilots office.
Well darn. So probably a slim chance of meeting the CP? Just trying to network, that's all.

If I'm ever seen with the CP, I hope its because I'm in trouble.

But I'd share a brew with Capt Clark any day of the week.

I wouldn't just pop into the CP office. I would say it's frowned upon, at the least. The protocol is a pilot has to refer you to get that meeting. If you were to just pop in, I think it might actually hurt your chances, because it's a disrespectful move. Networking is one thing, overstepping your bounds is another. Good luck.

You'll have a better chance of running into him out on the streets than in the office. As the CPO is in a super secure location, you'll need to be signed in and escorted if you don't possess a local SIDA badge. Regular line pilots don't have escort authority.
