Wife is a 37 LAX F/O. Seniority in the mid 8s. '98 hire. On 10/7/14, put a bid in for the ORD 777 F/O. Name never appeared on any of the last three snapshots. Final Jr. award for the seat was 9491.

Email sent 10/10/14 to [email protected] asking 'why isn't she on there?' has never been answered or even acknowledged.

Pulled the bid prior to 10/13/14 in case something went screwy.

Any idea why she wouldn't have been included in the snapshots? She was a voluntary furlough in 09 who came back in 02/14 to the 37 F/O in EWR. Awarded a lateral via bid 14_11 to LAX with an effective date of 11/14 but was activated two months early.

She shouldn't have had any issue with freezes/locks or anything to go from the 37 to 777, right? There's no reason she can think of to have been left off the last snapshot as her seniority could easily have been awarded the position. And with no response so far from UAL, not sure what's up.

Steve,

I think your question would be better answered at ualpilotsforum.org instead of this anonymous forum.

She didn't have any % requirements listed for her bid did she? Those snapshots are screwed up a LOT of the time it seems to me

Nope. Had 100% as the number.

The standing bids were erased when the company enabled the new bid screen. Did she catch that and input new bids?

Yep. Did a whole bunch of bids (why not, right?) after the wipe out. I noticed it myself and even posted here about the 'redo your bids.'

Attached is a screen shot of what was in place by 10/07 and should have been snapshotted on 10/08, 10/09 and 10/10 yet she wasn't on any of them. I checked them each day to make sure they were saved and still there.

So, everything was perfect on our end, as far as we knew. That's what so weird.

Can you have too many 100% bids? When she got the LAX lateral, she had four domiciles in her bid, all 37 F/O and she was awarded her 3rd choice in the list.

What's different now?

SpecialTracking 10-15-2014 04:21 PM

Steve,

Hate to ask this (kinda like asking if you checked the gear indication bulb), but when she imputed and saved her bids was she forwarded to a request completed page?

If all else fails, don't bother with the company, call you LAX LEC rep asap. As mentioned above, post on UALpilotsforum. More knowledgeable people on there.

Best of luck.
