Meals

Looks like sCAL pilots can pre-order meals starting tomorrow. The selections on the drop down list are not really descriptive. Anyone know where we can find the specific contents for each selection?

What a great victory for the pilots? List of meal choices vegetarian meal, gluten free meal, Hindu meal, Kosher meal, Molsem meal, Asian vegetarian meal, lighter choice chicken, lighter choice, lighter choice fish, salad meal. Those sound great. Why can't we get a cash instead of food option?

Let's face it, the relatively decent crew meals we used to get (at UA) are LONG gone. The food they give us now is usually an embarrassment. It's very poor quality food and there is very little of it. What's even more amazing is that I see the same meals being handed out to the pax in First Class. It's sad to see how far we've fallen.

And to top it all off, they jack you around on reimbursement when your meal is inadequate, as specified in the UPA.

The real choices are: the botulism meal, the listeria meal, or the salmonella meal. Tried botulism last month but I'm switching to the salmonella meal this month.....

Seeing that you are jaded n cynical I would have thought you would have appreciated that post. And yes Mcdonalds would be better, at least then I would get the opportunity to win the Monopoly game. If I just get pennsylvania avenue I get a cessna private jet trip.
