I just heard back from my classmate who went thru this when he returned. He got pro-rated for the year because he has more than one year of cumulative active service.

Excellent. Thanks for the info.

I was a returning voluntary furlough in 2013 and none of us got profit sharing as far as I know.

I returned in 2013 and did get profit sharing. New
Hires didn't get profit sharing, only returning furloughed pilots. One of the returning furloughed pilots in my class had to fight for it but did get it in the end. The rest of us just got it without a fight. If you didn't get it, you were screwed.

Alright, here is my wag... Profit sharing pool is up 20% from last year. Based on that and the percentage of last year's profit sharing to W2, I'm guessing 4%. But I suck at math

4% of your 2014 w2... Is that take home or after taxes? Wag's allowed:D

You can elect to put it all in your PRAP pre-tax so it doesn't get taxed.
