You can elect to put it all in your PRAP pre-tax so it doesn't get taxed.

That's not 100% accurate. Avoids federal - but still get hit with the others.

HA! What a slap in the face. That's what we deserve for voting this in. Thank you all LUALs who voted this in! I don't wanna hear any biatchin from ya.

The MEC' s email states that our profit sharing will be ABOUT 3.8% of QUALIFIED WAGES. Would somebody define what are QUALIFIED wages. Do we subtract our profit sharing from last year and the result is our qualified wages?

The only person on here who is biatchin appears to be you. What did you expect? We got absolutely smoked financially by every other large airline out there.... and many of the small ones.

Congrats on turning yet another post into LCAL vs LUAL. That's a pretty funny post considering your profit sharing would be 0 without this contract. Oh wait.... I forgot about the "special deal" your side wormed into to avoid the sunset clause.

See how stupid these arguments sound?

TRUE DAT!!, uh wait...new contract f/o on le guppy =157k...earnings b4 this contract was about 79k....
However, compared to dal, we are NOT plus one...maybe one turd sandwich.

I believe so. I'm pretty sure last year's profit sharing is excluded from qualified wages

When we make DAL money, we will make DAL profit sharing.

UAL profit sharing pool - $235 million
DAL profit sharing pool was that size in the 4th Q alone. For the year, it was $1.1 BILLION
