In hopes of good news soon.....I will start the next thread for 20 Jan calls....

Interviewed 22 Oct. Good luck to all and have a great Christmas.

Just called. 13 total. 10 new hire. 3 returnees. 8 Airbus....3 737. Maybe 75/6 by time class starts. Good luck.

Hey mugsy, congrats! Any idea why such a small class? Previous classes have been twice as big, plus plenty in the pool. Training bottleneck maybe?

I didnt ask. But your theories are probably correct. I have to admit after she said 20 jan class date I went into a euphoric daze.

United is having to rent offsite simulator time, at least on the guppy. So yes, I'd call it a training bottleneck. I'd bet they're having issues with all fleets at this point.

We are too big of an airline to go with this seasonal training model. They need to run the training centers full out year round.
