In the short term it would not apply to the 756 fleet. The flying out of JFK is on the 76T fleet for now.

Theoretically the fleets will be combined (how soon is an open question, but I am betting 18-36 months before that happens) and there will be a period of time when all of us 76T folks are transitioned over to the 756 fleet.

So, if you get the 756 assignment in New Hire the chances of any JFK flying in the near term is almost zero.

Could anyone else in the Feb 3 class send me a PM?

Biggest issue is if you get 756 or 76T you'll not get to touch the yoke much and will be bunkie except for rare flights while on reserve or bottom line holder... I'd recommend bidding a 737 or 320 based on what lateral base you want next... If IAH don't bid 737... Other bases should be fine.

Not true on the 756 in EWR. The junior line holders that are around 70% on the 76t are doing 75% bunkie.

Can someone please explain the "don't bid 737" out of IAH comment? Why?

They are shrinking the 73 in IAH.

They are/will be bumping pilots off 737 in IAH... So bid 320 or 756 if you have plans on living there anytime soon...

Out of the 3, which would get someone to ORD the fastest? Seems like what I've heard is that all 3 would be around 1 year? Everyone think that's true?

For ORD bid the 737. The ORD 76T and 320 are slowly shrinking - getting moved to other bases (sometimes displacing pilots) while growing the 737.

No pilot hired after seniority integration (sept 2013) has been able to hold ORD other than an occasional TDY. But HQ says they are still short of 50 pilots in each seat for ORD 737 for this summer and hopefully there will be one more vacancy letting the u33xxxx (numbers given to new hires) folks into the base.

Ditto on ORD 737
