I did one a month ago. He told me he was sending my name to HR that same afternoon. He also stated that he gets to send a certain number of names to HR per month, based on the size of the base. I asked him about a rec in Airline Apps and he said that's. Not required due to speaking directly with HR. He also said the Airline Apps link was for non-CPOs/management. FWIW.
Great experience and insight, still no Hogan link though, fingers crossed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thank you; so it is something I should see on airlineapps if he has written it?

Yes. It will be in the same place all the rest of your letters of rec are if the CP has submitted it.

Not true, CP/Management recs do not show on airlineapps.

Perhaps the processed has changed. I did mine about a year ago. |
Mine was sent directly to HR as well as a LOR on airline apps. I've been told that all this does is put you in a smaller stack, no guarantee for an interview just better odds. I have heard there are 4 stacks apps go into based on various events like Conference/job fair attendance will move you up one stack, a CP meet and greet will move you into another smaller stack, doing a conference/job fair + a CP meet and greet will move you to the smallest stack at UAL.

Does anyone about the program being cancelled? I heard a rumor that it has been. I'm not kidding.

I know it doesn't carry as much weight as it once did but as of a week or two ago there was a way for them to email names to Denver. They are interviewing non-stop but so far they haven't run out of competitive folks.
