What was the outcome of the violation? "Paid Fine" or "Paid Fine; non-moving violation & no points" or if a violation was dismissed, put "Dismissed". If you got some sort of adjudication agreement, ie, "Dismissed after traffic school" I would put that as well.

Strongly recommend all folks trying to get major jobs to pull your own drivers license record. Anything that looks out of place needs to be dealt with and made to go away, or explained. You could also get a quality background check done by different agencies/companies to make sure you have no skeletons. Allot of people forget what happened in college, so clean up any parking tickets, or library fines and for sure make sure no warrants out there. Seems obvious right............ Also, Canada is "weird" about their country. I know some people who are United pilots who can't fly to Canada because of some obscure civil issue, or even a bar fight. Canada can evidently "see" your record when they scan your passport.
