Default Pretty high Strike Vote

China Airlines Pilots Vote To Strike

China Post (4/28, Chiao) reports that 596 out of 598 pilots from China Airlines “approved a motion to strike.” The Post reports that this vote marks the first time “employees of an airline have obtained the legal right to strike” in Taiwan. The pilots are asking for the “re-evaluation of working hours and allotted days off” and have set a date for “concrete negotiations on May 11.”

Those last 2 that didn't vote must have been management pilots or out sick...

I wish them the best. Currently working for a Asia based airline. The COS are under constant attack. It's good to see pilots standing up and saying enough.
