Default Commuting between IAH and EWR?

How is the commute between Newark and Houston? It looks like plenty of flights, but how are the loads? Doable, stressful? Thanks in advance!

There are tons of commuters, many of them very senior. I believe junior commuters use JFK and LGA frequently to get to EWR.

Yes. There are times when you simply look at the board and go to the next flight into one of the three airports.

I do the commute every week not to bad if you have a show after 1700 you will make it just might have to leave real early. coming home has been the one that is the problem I make it but have had to catch FEDX a couple times.

Thanks! That's a good other discriminator: for the new hire /very junior guy.

I did it back in 2007-2008 and back then it was definitely doable. Of course, I always went in the day before and was fortunate enough to always make it home on my last day. IMHO it is a reasonable commute. Good luck!

It's rarely a problem getting IN to EWR... the problem is that all the flights getting OUT of EWR are oversold. I know that makes no sense, unless there's a mass exodus of people from New Jersey (a possibility), but that's how EWR commuting has been for me for the past 4 months.
