Most junior man as of 6/14/15
737 nyc fo 12214

737 lax fo
6/4/15 Junior man Seniority 11898
320 lax fo

737 SFO fo

320 SFO fo

The 737 & 320 LAX and SFO bases are pretty junior. Shouldn't take long to get in. Probably less than a year the way things are going. It all depends on the frequency of vacancy bids.
Congrats and welcome.

Really appreciate all the advice guys, from everyone! Helps to have some idea... even if it doesn't pan out, its still something to help figure out what life will look like.

Just finished basic indoc (BI). I can confirm that mock and real bids are now day 1. Found out bases when we showed up then did a mock bid. The actual bid was in the afternoon. as far as time between BI and aircraft training my class had anywhere from 3 days to 20+ days in between.

Anyone wearing smart jeans? Or is everyone wearing plain uniform type pants and shirts?

I think skinny jeans are allowed now.

Skinny jeans? Only for skinny people? :D

Jeans and polo shirts are more than sufficient for daily training during BI and sims... Majority did wear slacks and long sleeve for the final day... BI and sim check.

Was the wait time for class aircraft specific?

737 - 2 had the weekend off and the rest about 16 days
320 - about a week
756 - week to two weeks

I'm curious about how trips are put together. For example. if you're DCA-based on a three-day trip you're basically shuttling back and forth between out-bases and DCA and not hitting other hubs with nothing in between right? Also during bidding, besides days on/off do you get to bid where the overnight or is it luck of the draw?
