Default IND-EWR Commute

New hire looking at commuting short term from IND to EWR. Looks like 24 UAL/UAX flights daily (8 direct). Anyone know the pain associated specifically with "that" commute? Appreciate the advice in advance.

Fedex is also a nice option for that...easy one leg commute. Leaves EWR late or gets into EWR early depending on which way you are going.

Thanks M99. What's EWR early/late? Departs IND? Departs EWR? Appreciate the assist.

Fedex is great for jumpseating. When you call to list you basically know you have a guaranteed ride. This is how to see the schedules. http://www2.alpa.org/fdx/jumpseat/

A lot of the EWR trips are earlier show times. FedEx would beat most of them in. If your trip runs a little late then Fedex was a nice option as it had several late options. The crews were great and it is nice to be able to confirm the jumpseat. I did a two leg commute through Indy, so having just that one leg would be easy.

Huge help and thanks all. Seems easier to utilize than I thought. Though the leg into EWR will make for a long day, it does make it doable on the backside of the clock.
