Can anyone in IAH give a rational reason as to why a turncoat worthy of at best being Benedict Arnold's chamber pot maid is being considered for reinstatement into ALPA?

Show up and voice your opinion - the leadership at the Houston LEC has always been suspect and you should let them know if this happens you'll work to make sure they don't get re-elected. It's not a cultural thing it's a leadership problem wanting to return to the ways of Fred and the deal making.

Do you have the resolution or a copy of the application? Who's sponsoring the guy?

It's a TON of drama and lots of political mudslinging with elections coming up. I'm not airing names on this public forum. Get on the UALPilots forum and you can read all about it. It's free and open to all non-scab UAL pilots.

The Chairman gotted displaced and is off to training next month for his EWR 756 slot anyway.

If you would browse the ALPA CB&L and the UAL MEC Policy Manual once in a while you would understand this is no C-171 conspiracy. The application is being considered per policy.There is no one sponsoring him because that is not required and it really has nothing to with the current LC leadership.

Furthermore none of the LEC are running for reelection so you don't even need to concern yourself with them for much longer.

There will be a vote on his membership at the 21 October LC meeting. The council even required the individual to attend that meeting per policy.

Fair enough, but the horrific history of 171 makes it impossible for me to have faith the correct action will be done. Even giving goat boy the chance makes me ralf.

I understand Intrepid. But trust me with all the eyeballs on this one it will be handled correctly.
