Aside from the seniority and past practice issues this would create, do you think it would be a "large" enough change to withdraw participation?

Under the current agreement we can save ourselves. Under the TA we rely on the FAA to save us from a "large" change in operating practices, no?

I want to like it, but .....

As Jsled said I shouldn't have used the word large. If the company wants to change an FRMS route they have to reapply and it would still involve ALPA.

The issue of Bunky and FO having the same ID number isn't an FRMS issue. I have full confidence in Todd and the grievance committee that the'd get that fixed as a past practice. He has an excellent track record and has already won a System Board level grievance setting past practice as a standard.

Future system board grievances and the flown by award don't change that the TA removes ALPA's ability, as a whole, to rescind FRMS participation like we did last spring.

My point with this example is that there are work rule changes that could significantly affect FRMS operation and the only relief is grievance. Not the language we currently enjoy and will lose with the TA.

Point to what language you think we're giving up please. Sorry but I don't see it.

Stocks are about the top and bottom line....

United also said that revenue from each seat flown a mile, a key measurement of airlines, fell more than anticipated in the fourth quarter. The unit revenue dropped by as much as 6.25 percent.
And so it begins.....

A 34% drop in one year. Yeah baby...the future is BRIGHT. We're gonna look like geniuses before this is over. Watch and see.

We'll know if it passes next week. If it passes, should see the pay increase in March since that's for work in Feb.

Since when has the stock price ever factored into our compensation?? That's for the managerial crowd to worry about since its built into theirs. There is no equity for us. We didn't sacrifice anything, remember? Enough capitulation for capitulations sake.
