The high visibility vests that are required due mostly to the efforts of one line pilot? Just goes to show b!tching on APC or the other board doesn't change things. Why not write a resolution for your next LEC meeting expressing the need to keep the UA tail number in the future?
Yes, that what is being said. The action originated from the SFO LEC. I did not post to change things. Just voicing my opinion. Two different cultures and life moves on. |

We realize you have a Multiple Personality Disorder, but is any of them a real pilot? You don't seem to know much about Aviation. |

That's only 999 airframes, if you reserved all the UA numbers, which they didn't. Why is UAL always the last ones in the industry to figure out reality?

sCO FA here 3 will go to sCO rest to sUA. This is of course if we don't have a combined contract by the time the first one comes on property. If contract happens before then then any FA qualified on them (regardless of sub) will be able to fly them.

[QUOTE=Sunvox;2143983]Totally agree. Bad Juju. Fix the damn problem and make everyone get on the same team.
Actually, the company somehow determined that the first three 777-300s were traded for sub-CO 787s (even though CAL only ordered 25 Sparkies to begin with), so the LCAL FAs will get to fly those three; the remaining 11 will be flown by LUAL stews. The LCAL girls seem to forget that United once had a huge presence, internationally and domestically over at that other insignificant international airport across the river that we abandoned after the merger. Because we know how much our rich Long Island business customers love driving to Sewark. |

For the most part, we still see the people that helped orchestrate the JS merger driving the ship. With OM's medical condition and lack of knowledge of real airline operational issues, he's NOT keeping these guys in check. The current results are what you see and the biggest issue of getting all merger related issues resolved should have been at the TOP of OM's todo list. Look, JS people sold the pilots a 2 year contract extension under the OM watch. We went for a 13% raise. Why can't they work with the F/A and mechanic unions to get them on the same page. Does OM disrespect and see these groups as expendable and replaceable - shame on you Oscar. |
Staller, I don't know what a guy named Oscar did for your ex-wife, but I'm sure she found it better then anything you can ever bring.

Do you talk to any of these people? The biggest impediment to an FA contract is the FAs. Neither side will work together for a common goal. All Ive heard from both sides, for the last several years is, I'm happier working as two employee groups. I've even talked to new hire UAL side FAs have been sucked in and reeducated into CAL vs UA bs.
